Super advanced for superior sound. To achieve true-to-the original sound, this Super Audio CD player features Rigid Under Base technology, an aluminium front panel, Direct Construction with Separate Shield Structureand Twin Transformers. The shield isolates the audio
 block from the power block allowing the signal transmission to pass through the shortest path to bring you crystal clear audio.
The PD-50's Hi-bit DSP technology guarantees high-precision and high-speed processing for significantly greater accuracy. Auto Level Control equalises volume differences between tracks, so there is no need to make adjustments for each song.
The player is compatible with Direct Stream Digital (DSD) discs - the optimum format for storing
extremely high-resolution audio on SACD. Or you can plug in your iPod/iPhone/iPad via the digital connection to benefit from the superior sound output.
A front USB port allows immediate access to music files stored on your USB memory stick (MP3, MPEG-4, AAC, WMA).
Sound Retriever significantly improves the sound quality of those compressed audio files to give you CD-level clarity.
